The sporty grade available in the United States for the new 11th generation Camry is the XSE. It features a special front bumper with a honeycomb pattern opening, front side canards, and a rear diffuser. The rear is equipped with a dual-tip exhaust and trunk spoiler. The front grille and trunk garnish are unified in black to emphasize the sporty style. 19-inch multi-spoke black and smoke gray aluminum wheels are standard.
The XSE is available in four exclusive two-tone body colors: Ocean Gem, Windchill Pearl, Heavy Metal, and Supersonic Red, and can be combined with a roof painted in Midnight Black Metallic.
Leather interior with “shooting blade” pattern perforations on the door trim and seats is standard equipment. You can choose from two colors: black with blue lined perforations and cockpit red. Aluminum sports pedals and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters are standard equipment. A 12.3-inch fully digital meter is installed in front of the driver. The display in the center of the dashboard is also 12.3 inches. A 10-inch head-up display is available as an option.
All new Camry powertrains will be hybrid. The latest 5th generation hybrid system combines a 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder gasoline engine with a motor and a lithium-ion battery. The drive system is set to FF or AWD (electric on-demand 4WD). There are four driving modes to choose from: Eco, Normal, Sport, and EV.
The power of the entire hybrid system has been increased compared to the previous model, with 225hp for FF and 232hp for AWD. The power of AWD has been increased by more than 30hp compared to the conventional model.
