On the 16th, GLAY announced on their official website that regarding the live concerts to be held at Saitama Super Arena on the 18th and 19th, there would be a day-long suspension of service on some sections of the JR Yamanote Line on both days. Please come to the station closest to the venue.” On the official website, the title is “Notice of suspension of service for some sections of the JR Yamanote Line on the day of the GLAY Saitama Super Arena performance” and “On the day of the GLAY Saitama Super Arena performance, please use the JR Yamanote Line between Osaki Station and Ikebukuro Station to go to Saitama Super Arena.” Customers who were planning to visit the venue will be advised that some sections of the JR Yamanote Line will be suspended for the entire day.” I also attached the URL of JR East.

Due to redevelopment work at Shibuya Station in Tokyo, JR East announced that all trains on the outer Yamanote line between Osaki, Shibuya and Ikebukuro will be suspended on the 18th, and on the inner loop between Ikebukuro, Shibuya and Osaki on the 19th. In addition, the number of trains will be reduced on other sections of the Yamanote Line.

Shibuya Station has been undergoing station improvement work since 2015, and as part of the town development around Shibuya Station, the Yamanote Line tracks and platforms will be raised to ensure a comfortable station space. This will be the last of five track changes at Shibuya Station, and the company plans to expand the station concourse and work on the jointly developed building in earnest.

If construction cannot be carried out due to bad weather, it will be postponed to December 16th and 17th. In that case, some sections will be suspended all day on November 18th and 19th.
