GLAY will be releasing their 62nd single “whodunit/Share” on May 29th, which will mark their 30th anniversary since their debut.

It was announced today that “whodunit” included in the single is a collaboration song with JAY, a member of the global group ENHYPEN. Since their debut in September 2023, ENHYPEN has achieved the fastest solo Tokyo Dome performance in history among K-pop boy groups, and their latest album has achieved double million sales for the first time, making them a very popular group.

The reason for the offer was that GLAY’s leader, TAKURO, was looking for a collaboration artist who would create a song that would be suitable for the beginning of GLAY’s 30th anniversary career, and who would give great inspiration to the band. After hearing more about JAY and learning about his singing voice and his passion for rock music, he felt that there might be some interesting chemistry between them, so he approached him.

TERU and TAKURO also went to Korea to record the vocals for the song together with JAY. Also, at Takuro’s request, JAY himself wrote the lyrics for JAY’s singing part.

“whodunit” opens a new door for both GLAY and JAY, and the title has been changed from today to “whodunit-GLAY × JAY (ENHYPEN)-” and the artwork has also been released. I’m looking forward to hearing the entire song from now on.

In addition, prior to the release, “SOUL LOVE (QUEEN+ADAM LAMBERT “THE RHAPSODY TOUR” in SAPPORO DOME)” has been distributed in advance on various distribution sites from April 25th.
