Takanori Iwata (35) of “EXILE” and “Sandaime J SOUL BROTHERS” will appear live on NHK’s “Asaichi” broadcast on the 26th (8:15 a.m. from Monday to Friday). He talked about the behind-the-scenes story of the “falling scene” that became a hot topic in the NHK drama series “Tiger ni Tsubasa,” in which he is appearing.

In episode 18 (aired on the 24th), there is a scene in which Hanaoka, played by Iwata, slips and falls on a mountain where he goes hiking with Torako (Sari Ito) and others to deepen their friendship.

Regarding the same scene, Ito, who appeared in the VTR, said, “There was a time when I was so angry that I pushed myself, and I almost fell, and I turned pale for a moment.I was like, “I’m sliding!” I thought, “Wow!” but he persevered,” he recalled. “Mr. Iwata was really kind and told me, “You don’t really have to worry about it, just come.” As expected, I had to keep my powers down, but I didn’t have to hold back emotionally. I’m sure “Please come! “I was able to jump in because of what you said, so I’m very grateful.”

When Iwata looked back at the scene in the studio, he couldn’t help but say, “It’s embarrassing.” The scene was shot with wire action rather than CG. A making-of video was also released, saying, “It’s quite tall. If it were a building, it would be three or four floors high. It’s facing backwards, so I can’t see behind it, so I checked the staff and used wire action.I never expected it to be like this. It was a pretty extensive shoot, with a crane truck deep in the mountains,” he says with a wry smile. “Moreover, we started shooting just before sunset. We shot this scene all day long, and little by little we climbed up to the cliff.Okay, so we shot the cliff scene, and the sun was already setting. Somehow, I managed to film the part of the play and said, “Thank you everyone for your hard work!” So I waved to the other actors from the top of the cliff and said, “Okay, let’s go!” “So it was a solo with a crane,” he said, looking back, “Actually, it only took about 30 minutes, and there were no tests, so it felt like the real thing right away.”

In response to Iwata’s story, MC Hakata Daikichi of Hakata Hanamaru Daikichi commented, “It’s kind of rude to say that again, but… why did they do it with wire? I guess CG or something would be fine.” Iwata said, “I think the director’s intention was to keep it light. It’s a falling scene, after all, so it’s more like depicting it vividly.I was told, “Just make it exaggerated.”And I understood that, too. , I thought that I wanted to express it as a comical scene, so I decided to go with the Matrix scene,” he said, explaining his intention to use wire action rather than CG.
