◇People in their 30s are “more and more free”

Kakei turned 30 on March 6th. How does he feel now that he is in his 30s?

“I think I’m naive, but there are a lot of seniors who welcome me to my 30s, telling me things will be fun, things will be easy, and welcome to my 30s. I was happy that it was accepted,” he says with a laugh.

He says that his 20s were “days of challenge.”

“I’ve been busy with work since I was around 19 years old, and I think I had a lot of time in my early 20s to take on challenges such as gravure, modeling, and acting. In my late 20s, I started to have less free time and freedom. I’m starting to be able to hold on to it,” he says, looking back.

When I was 29 years old, just before I turned 30, I said, “I didn’t think I was too concerned about my age, but now that I think about it, I’m not in a hurry to reach my 30s, but I have to accomplish something…” I think I was fighting against that feeling.” So when I turned 30, I felt like I had a break, or rather, I was able to start a new journey very comfortably, so I felt grateful for who I was until now. I’m excited to be able to have more and more fun times from now on.I want to be more free and a better person in my 30s,” he says, looking forward to growing older.

◇Mother in her 50s: “It’s cool to see her taking on new challenges.”

When asked about her ideal image of a woman, she answered, “My mother and my aunt, three sisters.”

“My mother is the middle of three sisters, and she has an older and younger aunt, all of whom are in their fifties now, and are extremely powerful, entertaining and loving to those around them. From my point of view, since I was a child, They are the kind of people I think are cool and want to be like. That hasn’t changed, and as I grow older, I realize how amazing they are.”

“It’s especially cool to see my mother take on new challenges no matter how old she is,” she says.

“My mother’s current hobbies include doing DIY and making picture books.I admire her for being creative and taking on new challenges even as she gets older.Of course, she also loves her family. They take great care of me, and they also value my own enjoyment, and I get strength from seeing them lively, so I hope I can become that kind of adult.”

◇Relax by “cooking a gentle meal for yourself”

He says that what he feels most relaxed about now is “time in the kitchen.”

“Recently, I’ve been making Japanese mackerel boiled in plums every day. When I get addicted to it, I end up eating it all the time, so I’ve been eating it for about a week now (lol). It all started when I met someone who told me that grated daikon radish is good for the body. I had always liked boiled plums, but I thought it would go well with grated daikon radish, so I tried it and it turned out to be really delicious.I felt very relaxed when I took the time to make a gentle meal for myself. Become”

She also reveals that she has been doing Pilates recently for beauty and health.

“As I’ve gotten older, I’ve gradually come to feel more like conditioning my body than building my body, and now that’s what feels best to me.When it comes to eating, I think about what I want to eat right now. When I eat it, I think, Wow, that’s what I needed right now. I try to follow my instincts and listen to my body.”

Even in her first photo book in seven years, she feels satisfied that she was able to show her “true self.”

“When I was in my 20s, I used to work out and go on a diet before shooting, but this time I thought that maybe I didn’t need that much. When I thought of a woman I thought was beautiful, I thought he was a person who was full of energy by eating delicious food, so I thought it would be nice to be able to show him not forcing himself to eat something delicious.I went into the photo shoot eating lots of delicious food in a natural way.

To the readers, he said, “When I saw the finished product, it showed a natural side that I hadn’t shown before, and I thought it was really good.” I would be happy if there were people who would enjoy the way I look, whether it’s my long hair or my messy hair, because I think that kind of appearance is very human and part of my charm.”
