Actor Kyoko Koizumi attended the stage greeting event held in Tokyo on April 23rd to announce the completion of the movie “Gobangiri” (released on May 17th, directed by Kazuya Shiraishi). The movie is a full-fledged historical drama based on the popular rakugo story “Yanagida Kakunoshin”, which tells a human story about the game of Go. This is a touching revenge entertainment about a ronin named Kakunoshin Yanagida (Tsuyoshi Kusanagi) who was separated from his daughter due to a false accusation, and he puts his pride as a samurai on the line as he takes on the challenge of revenge.
