The original work “Trapezium” is a story about Yu Higashi, a high school student who aims to become an idol, as he moves toward his dream while gathering beautiful girls from north, south, east, and west. It has been serialized in the magazine “Da Vinci” since 2016. The youth novel by Kazumi Takayama (Motonogizaka46), which was published as a book in 2018, incorporates Takayama’s own experiences and struggles as a member of a top idol group, and is full of fresh reality and passion. The book received a great response and became a huge hit, selling a total of 300,000 copies.

Kimata will play Shinji Kudo, who Yuu meets when he visits Kurumi Okawa, a real girl from the West. He is a boy who loves cameras and plays an important role in Yuu and the others’ growth.
