X JAPAN’s YOSHIKI collapsed from overwork on the 26th and is being admitted to a hospital in Tokyo, the agency announced. He had just returned to Japan this week for a photo shoot after performing on the piano at Dodger Stadium, the home of Major League Baseball’s Dodgers, but the scheduled photo shoot was canceled at the last minute. He is currently resting while undergoing tests. For the past few months, YOSHIKI has been traveling around the world and keeping a busy schedule. Last September, his first directorial work, YOSHIKI: UNDER THE SKY, was released in Japan and other countries around the world. In the same month, he engraved his own handprints and footprints at the Chinese Theater in the US, and in October he held a classical world tour in Japan, the UK, and the US. He became the first Japanese to win three historic venues: the Royal Albert Hall in England, the US Dollar Bee Theater, and Carnegie Hall in the US.
