Since its founding in 1954, TASAKI, a Japanese luxury jeweler that has continued to create modern and edgy jewelry using pearls and diamonds as its two main elements, will open from April 26, 2024 (Friday) to May 12, 2024. A reception was held on April 25th (Thursday) for TASAKI’s 70th anniversary exhibition “FLOATING SHELL” which will be held at BA-TSU ART GALLERY until (Sunday).

At the reception, in addition to Momo, who is active all over the world as a member of TWICE and the unit MISAMO, gorgeous celebrities such as Hayao Ichinose, Dori Sakurada, Kou Shibasaki, Mikako Tabe, Perfume, Aki Higashihara, Keita Machida, and Riho Yoshioka came to celebrate. Ta.

Momo, TASAKI’s 70th Anniversary Brand Partner, said of this exhibition, “It was very interesting to see collaborations with items from various genres. I thought the single pearl was shining and the modern design was very nice.”

At the venue, which has a minimal and fantastical image of floating mother-of-pearl statues and frames, there will be new releases from TASAKI’s iconic jewelry “Balance,” as well as sneakers, eyewear, earphones, etc. that incorporate TASAKI jewelry motifs. Innovative collaboration products with Japanese brands from various genres will be released. The venue design and key visual image is a “Floating Shell.”

It symbolizes the history of TASAKI, which started in the pearl farming industry and has continued to take on challenges and change full of creativity, along with the beautiful pearls that were born through years under the sea, as well as the freedom to adventure into the future.

The exhibition is scheduled to be held in various countries around the world over the course of this year, starting with Tokyo, then moving to Shanghai, Osaka, Taipei, Seoul, Paris, and London. Expectations are high for the anniversary year of TASAKI, which continues to evolve timelessly and boldly toward a new era.
