Significance of holding SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is creating a sustainable city with advanced technology, and disseminating its challenges to solving urban issues and the diverse charms of Tokyo to both Japan and abroad as “Sustainable High City Tech Tokyo = SusHi Tech Tokyo.” There is. The upcoming “SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024” is a large-scale international event expected to attract 500,000 participants, creating innovations originating from Tokyo and disseminating future urban models.
By holding SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024, various effects will be created, including an increase in the number of startups originating from Tokyo, problem solving through intercity collaboration, and social implementation of cutting-edge technology in Tokyo. By holding the event simultaneously, city leaders, start-up ecosystem players such as start-up companies and venture capital, companies with cutting-edge technology, and all participants will interact, creating a synergistic effect and working toward the realization of a sustainable city. It is hoped that further initiatives will emerge.

Showcase program (mainly for the general public)

At four venues: Ariake Arena, Miraikan National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, Symbol Promenade Park, and Umi no Mori Area, you can see, touch, hear, and taste Tokyo in 2050. We will prepare content that will give you a sense of what it will be like and run a program that allows you to experience “Tokyo in 2050” where “nature” and “convenience” are fused.

In order to further spread this movement, we will be exhibiting a “Children’s Smile Movement” booth at the showcase program of “SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024”.

Global Startup Program (mainly for business)

Asia’s largest global innovation conference, creating “unexplored encounters” with domestic and international startup ecosystems. A diverse range of players from Asia and the world, including startups, investors, large corporations, countries and cities, and students, gathered in Tokyo to discuss the vision of sustainable future cities from multiple perspectives. The aim is to lead to the creation of innovation through open and flat exchanges.
