“Akita CARAVAN MUSIC FES” is a caravan-style outdoor music festival that Takahashi has been holding since 2016 with the desire to liven up Akita Prefecture, which is said to have the highest rate of population decline and aging in the nation, with music. As the title “CARAVAN” suggests, the city to be held will change every year, with the aim of holding the event in all 13 cities in Akita Prefecture.
This year’s venue, Noshiro City in northwestern Akita Prefecture, can be accessed not only from JR Akita Station and Akita Airport, but also from Odate-Noshiro Airport and Morioka Station (Aomori Prefecture). Access tours from major stations are also planned.

acmf will be the 7th city in Noshiro this time. Every time we hold a festival, the entire festival production team, including myself, has the opportunity to meet new Akitas, learn more, and fall in love with Akita even more.
On a personal note, I have been holding a tour of 47 prefectures since last year, and am spending my days experiencing the charms of all parts of the country.
In other words, it was also a day when I was reminded once again of the characteristics of my hometown, Akita.
This year, I am determined to not only have good encounters and learn from Akita, but also to be able to add even a little bit of flowers to Akita during these two days, and to bring energy from Akita to everyone across the country. We will also be holding a festival.

Many wonderful artists will be coming to Akita this year as well. We will work together with the people of Noshiro City to enliven Akita with music, together with all the wonderful performers who have come together. Let’s witness together what kind of miracles are waiting for us in Noshiro.
