“Mitsui Outlet Park Okazaki” to open in fall 2025, first in Aichi Prefecture – Impress Watch

Mitsui Fudosan has announced that construction will begin in May 2024 for Mitsui Outlet Park Okazaki (tentative name), which is currently being developed in Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture. Scheduled to open in the fall of 2025, it will be the first full-scale outlet mall in Aichi Prefecture.

This is the second Mitsui Outlet Park in the Tokai area, following Mitsui Outlet Park Jazz Dream Nagashima (Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture). Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Anjo (tentative name) is also scheduled to open in spring 2025.

The planned site is approximately a 13-minute walk from Honjuku Station on the Nagoya Railway Main Line, and is highly convenient for transportation as it is close to National Route 1, the Shin-Tomei Expressway “Okazaki Higashi” IC, and the Tomei Expressway “Otowa Gamagori” IC. Location.

As a commercial facility, there are approximately 170 stores where you can enjoy outlet shopping, from overseas brands to sports/outdoors, kids, and more. The common area will include a grand staircase and terrace that can be used as a rest space in a lush outdoor plaza. Additionally, a children’s space and pet-related equipment will also be located within the facility.

We will also work to solve ESG issues such as reducing CO2 emissions by installing solar panels, adopting high-efficiency equipment, and introducing energy-saving items.

The locations are Ikegane-cho, Maiki-cho, and Honjuku-cho, Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture. Site area is approximately 158,400m2. Total floor area is approximately 64,600m2. The building is a steel frame structure with two floors above ground.
