Japan’s futuristic fireworks entertainment “STAR ISLAND” will be held in two cities: Fukuoka (May 11th and 12th) and Tokyo (June 1st and 2nd). It has been five years since the event was held in Japan.

 This is entertainment that combines the traditional Japanese culture of fireworks with the latest technology to be passed on to the next generation. The show will overwhelm the audience with a perfectly synchronized show of fireworks, lasers, drones, 3D sound, and stage performances that will be launched one after another.The overall direction will be directed by Kobashi, who has previously served as show director for the closing ceremony of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, served as event planning producer for the 2025 Japan International Expo (Osaka/Kansai Expo), and has produced STAR ISLAND since its launch. The dream team “Raikō Enmai “KAGUZUCHI” – KAGUZUCHI -, which brings together top-notch performers active both domestically and internationally, will be added to bring together professionals from various genres.


 
This year’s concept is “LIFE IS A JOURNEY.” It expresses one big journey called life while going around five parts starting with .  

50,000 fireworks will be launched. A Japanese fireworks team with a track record of performing around the world will decorate the night skies of Tokyo and Fukuoka.

 The stage show will feature a variety of performers, including the “Lightning Flame Dance Kaguzuchi” -KAGUZUCHI–, which will feature a dynamic and fantastical performance that combines fireworks, dorons, and lasers with performances using fire and water. Deliver performance.

In Fukuoka, where this year’s “STAR ISLAND” begins, there will be fun that can only be found in Fukuoka. Red Cliff has held shows in more than 34 cities so far, including the immersive drone show CONTACT, which became a hot topic at the Tokyo Motor Show, and last November held Japan’s largest drone show with 1,225 drones. In collaboration with representative Kouaki Sasaki, we will produce the night sky of Fukuoka with 1000 drones.

Additionally, at Fukuoka PayPay Dome, you can experience immersive entertainment that combines lasers with art based on the concept of “THE GATEWAY.”

Food and drinks are also sold inside the venue in both Fukuoka and Tokyo. There will also be content that can be enjoyed during the day, such as DJs and performers.

“STAR ISLAND” was first held at Odaiba Seaside Park in Tokyo in May 2017, and in 2018 it expanded to Singapore in addition to Odaiba Seaside Park. Since then, Fukuro has been held in Singapore, Saudi Arabia, and other countries. It has mobilized a total of approximately 15 million people.
