Night lighting was installed at Nara City’s Roth Field Nara, the home stadium of J3 soccer team Nara Club, and the first official night game was held on the evening of the 24th.

Nara City’s Rothfield Nara, the home stadium of the Nara Club, did not have night lighting until now, but night lighting was completed in February this year.
On the night of the 24th, the second round of the J.League Cup was held as the first official J.League game at night at Roth Field, with J3’s Nara Club facing off against J1’s Sanfrecce Hiroshima.
The match started at 7pm and the pitch was illuminated by four LED lights installed in the stadium.
Unfortunately, it rained on the night of the 24th, but many fans came to watch the match and cheered in the daytime-like brightness.
In the match, Nara Club lost 6-0, unable to break the J1 barrier.
After the match, Nara club coach Julián said, “With the night lights on, it felt like we were playing in a big stadium, and we were able to play in a very nice environment.”
