Connection with Kumamoto leads to permanent store opening
Purcell Jewelry Kumamoto store is the second permanent store in the Kyushu region, following Purcell Jewelry Fukuoka store (Daimaru Fukuoka Tenjin store).
The relationship between Purcell Jewelry and Tsuruya Department Store began with a pop-up shop held in Kumamoto in 2020.

This first event was well received, and since then pop-up shops have been held frequently at Tsuruya Department Store.
As the number of events continued, the bonds between Purcell Jewelry, Kumamoto’s customers, and Tsuruya Department Store grew stronger, and in 2024, it was a natural progression to establish a permanent store.

The Purcell Jewelry Kumamoto store will become a new base for spreading our brand in the Kyushu region. Going forward, PARCELLE Co., Ltd. plans to continue its community-based initiatives, deepen its sense of unity with the local community, and aim for growth both domestically and internationally.

Among the lineup, the “chouchou” series, which means “favorite” in French, is a ring that is loved by many customers as its name suggests.
Scrunchies, which have not been available in stores for a long time because they are difficult to make and match the stones, are now available for purchase at our Kumamoto store.

We use a pavé technique that combines colored stones and diamonds of different sizes and types, and spreads them tightly with tiny nails without any gaps.
Because colored stones vary in thickness, advanced techniques are required to precisely adjust each stone and create a perfectly flat surface.
In addition, the rails are attached along the contours of the stones on the outside, which prevents them from getting caught and making it difficult for stones to fall off.
The base metal is thick, making it comfortable to wear and feels like it sticks to your fingers.

Not only can it be worn alone, but it can also be stacked with other rings to bring out its beauty.

Fuuka Nakamura, who joined the company in December 2022, has been selected as the manager of the new store.
Nakamura was working at the Fukuoka store, but after participating in a pop-up shop in Kumamoto, he was drawn to the warmth of the local area and the charm of the market, and in March 2023, he decided to become a store manager.
After that, I moved to Purcell Jewelry Shinjuku store (Shinjuku Takashimaya), and after 10 months of manager training, I am now preparing to open the Kumamoto store.
