Konoike Transport/Completes beverage warehouse in Nagano Prefecture, leaving entire floor unmanned – LNEWS for logistics news

--

Konoike Transport announced on April 26th that it held a completion ceremony for the 2nd Warehouse of Azumino Sales Office, a dedicated storage and distribution base for Suntory natural water, in Azumino City, Nagano Prefecture, on the 23rd of the same month.

The new warehouse was added to the site adjacent to the existing first warehouse in conjunction with the operation of the second line at the Suntory Tennensui Northern Alps Shinanonomori Factory (Omachi City, Nagano Prefecture).

A unique feature is that six laser-guided unmanned forklifts (AGF) have been installed on the second floor to automate the loading/unloading and storage of products, and by operating the entire floor unmanned, the chronic labor force at logistics sites can be reduced. Respond to shortages.

This is the first time that an entire floor has been unmanned at a Konoike Transport warehouse.

In addition, the new warehouse will utilize electricity generated by solar power, contributing to reducing environmental impact.
