Snow Peak Co., Ltd. (Representative Director, President and Executive Officer: Futoshi Yamai, Headquarters: Sanjo City, Niigata Prefecture, Stock Code: 7816) will open the first directly managed camp field in Miyazaki Prefecture, “Snow Peak Miyakonojo Campfield” tomorrow in April. We will open in Sekinoo Park on Saturday the 27th.

“Snow Peak Miyakonojo Camp Field” will open in Miyazaki Prefecture’s Miyakonojo City, a major city in Miyazaki Prefecture that is surrounded by majestic, lush mountains such as the Kirishima Mountain Range and rich in natural resources, and has the second largest population in the prefecture. There are a total of 100 tent sites at Camp Field, including free sites, Sekinoo Falls viewing sites where you can enjoy camping while looking at Sekinoo Falls, sectioned auto sites with power sources, and sectioned auto sites. We also have 5 mobile houses called “JYUBAKO” and 4 cottages with toilets and bathrooms, so even first-time campers and people with children can stay with peace of mind. You can also use the “Hands-Free CAMP Plan,” which allows you to camp empty-handed, making it a camping field that can meet the needs of a variety of customers.

A directly managed store will also be open where you can purchase Snow Peak tents, tarps, and other camping gear, as well as Snow Peak apparel. There is also a cafe called “Snow Peak Cafe” where you can enjoy Miyakonojo tea and fluffy homemade donuts, and a restaurant called “Blue Bird Dining” where you can enjoy freshly baked bread, local meat and alcohol while looking out at the potholes of the Shonai River. It will be attached. Snow Peak Cafe and Blue Bird dining are also available for takeout, so we recommend taking out and walking around the park. These facilities are also available for use by people other than campers.

“Snow Peak Miyakonojo Camp Field” aims not only to be a base where you can enjoy camping in the rich nature, but also to be a base that promotes interaction with local people and tourism, and aims to further develop the Sekinoo area. We will continue to contribute to improving its attractiveness.

The concept is “Developing happiness that begins with delicious food through food.” We offer Miyakonojo tea, which is famous throughout the country, and “Yukimuro fluffy raw donuts” made in-house using local ingredients. With a wide selection of cafe menus and craft beers, it’s also a great place to take a break while walking around the Sekinoo area. You can spend a relaxing time on the cafe observation deck, where you can admire the scenery of Sekinoo that changes with the seasons.
