2nd place: Ginzan Onsen

2nd place was “Ginzan Onsen”.

Ginzan Onsen, which has a nostalgic atmosphere of Taisho romance, is also known as the filming location for the 1983 NHK TV drama series “Oshin.” Many people may think of the movie “Spirited Away” when they see the quaint townscape.

It will be fun to soak in the milky-white hot water and explore the many souvenir shops, cafes, and food spots within walking distance.

Respondents said, “The scenery is wonderful, like something out of Spirited Away” (Female in her 30s, Aomori Prefecture), and “I want to actually see the retro and photogenic scenery of Ginzan Onsen” (Female in her 40s, Chiba). Prefecture).

1st place: Zao Onsen

1st place was “Zao Onsen”.

Speaking of Zao, many people may think of the winter season. There are many attractions to see, such as Zao Onsen Ski Resort, the largest in Tohoku, and Zao Juhyo, which is said to be a snow monster, but you can’t miss the hot springs.

Zao Onsen, which is said to have been opened in 1900, is a strongly acidic sulfur spring that is said to be effective for beautifying the skin, and is also called the “Beauty Hot Spring.”
