All About The News Editorial Department conducted an original questionnaire survey from February 15th to March 29th targeting 320 people in their teens to 60s from around the country regarding “hot spring destinations they would like to visit in the Kansai/Hokuriku region.” . This time, we will introduce a ranking of the hot springs you want to visit in Ishikawa Prefecture.

2nd place: Wajima Onsen

2nd place was “Wajima Onsen”.

The source of Wajima Onsen, which is carried from the No. 2 hot spring in Wajima City, is a sodium-calcium chloride spring. It is said to be effective for neuralgia, muscle pain, joint pain, frozen shoulders, etc. It warms the body from within, so it is also recommended for people who are sensitive to cold.

It’s close to Sodegahama Beach and Ryugasaki Lighthouse, so there’s no shortage of sightseeing. It is also close to Wajima Port, and is an attractive place where you can enjoy freshly caught seafood such as shrimp, sea bream, and crab.

Respondents said, “I want to enjoy the hot springs while seeing the famous Wajima lacquerware” (Female in her 40s, Tokyo) and “I want to do my bit to support the reconstruction of the disaster area” (Female in her 30s, Chiba Prefecture). There was a voice.

1st place: Wakura Onsen

1st place was “Wakura Onsen”.

Wakura Onsen, which has a history of 1,200 years since its opening, is well-known not only within the prefecture but also throughout the country for its “salt-rich hot springs”.

Yuttari Park, where you can take a footbath for free, is popular as a scenic spot. You can spend a relaxing time while looking at the Notojima Ohashi Bridge and the Twin Bridge. In the summer, the Wakura Onsen Summer Fireworks (*cancelled in 2024) is held, and Hokuriku’s largest 3-shakudama fireworks (size 30 fireworks) are launched.

Respondents said, “I visited this hot spring town in front of the ocean before and became a fan of it.I want to visit again after the earthquake disaster recovery.” (Female in her 40s, Aichi Prefecture), “Wakura Onsen in the suspense of Kyotaro Nishimura” “I wanted to go there” (male, 30s, Osaka Prefecture).
