“I’m crazy at 5 o’clock! ” and “Rose Iro Dandy” to start the Toei bus project! Naoshi Iwashita travels on the city bus, Ryuji Harada visits Tokyo public baths | TOKYO HEADLINE

TOKYO MX collaborates with the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Toei Bus. Popular program “5 o’clock crazy! ” and “Rose Iro Dandy” will begin a project to rediscover the charm of Tokyo through Toei buses.

The first collaborative project is the live wide show program “Five o’clock crazy! ” and “Rose Iro Dandy” each air a corner about Toei buses.

“5 o’clock crazy!” will be broadcast from 5 p.m. ”, Tuesday commentator Naoshi Iwashita rides a Toei bus and discovers the charm of Toei buses and unknown local spots in Tokyo. “Naofumi Iwashita’s Next Stop” is broadcast once a month (first time is April 30).

Commenting on the new project, Naofumi Iwashita said, “This is a fun project where you can travel around Tokyo on a comfortable and affordable Toei bus and experience the lives of various Tokyo residents.Get off the bus, have a meal, or go to an amusement park. “I was able to interact with the people I met along the way, visiting historical sites, and I learned a lot from everyone who seemed to be living happily together.”

On “Rose Iro Dandy”, which airs from 9 p.m., Friday MC Ryuji Harada, who is also known as “the actor who loves baths,” takes a tour around the streets of Tokyo on a Toei bus in search of the “best public baths.” The bus trip project “Ryuji Harada’s Yutari Miyako Bus Trip” is broadcast once a month (first time is April 26th).

Ryuji Harada said, “The number of public bathhouses in Tokyo is decreasing year by year, so it was a really valuable experience to be able to tour them on location.Also, unlike the scenery you usually see from a car, the number of public bathhouses in Tokyo is decreasing year by year. The view of Tokyo from the bus window, especially from the height of the bus, was exceptional.I think everyone who rides a bus has their own way of enjoying the view from the bus, so I hope people can relate to it by watching the program. I think even people who don’t use it often will be able to enjoy the ever-changing cityscape of Tokyo.”
