“Sushitech Tokyo 2024” (sponsored by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and other organizations), an event to communicate the image of the city of the future, opened in Koto Ward, Tokyo on the 27th. Starting at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, “Flying Cars” and other items will be exhibited at four venues until May 26th. Admission is free, but some facilities require reservations on the website. The Tokyo metropolitan government expects a total of 500,000 visitors to experience the Tokyo of 2050.
Sushi Tech Tokyo was named by combining the letters “Sustainable High City Tech Tokyo,” which means sustainability and technological strength.
An opening event was held at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation on the 27th.
An international conference is also planned for May, where leaders from cities around the world will discuss the issue.
