
Niigata Nippo and the prefecture will hold the 77th Niigata Art Exhibition (Prefectural Exhibition).
The Niigata Prefectural Exhibition is the largest public exhibition in the prefecture with a history and tradition that began in November 1945, shortly after the end of the war, with the aim of revitalizing through culture.
It is well-loved by many residents of the prefecture, and boasts a top-class number of exhibits nationwide.
Selected works from the seven categories of Japanese paintings, Western paintings, prints, sculptures, crafts, calligraphy, and photography will be exhibited together.
*From May 26th (Friday), a special site “Digital Prefectural Exhibition” will be opened in “Niigata Nippo Digital Plus” where you can enjoy the works on your computer or smartphone.
