This work is based on a movie that was a huge hit in Taiwan. An innocent love story that depicts a heartbreaking love story set in a traditional music college. Kyomoto is Minato, a music college student who can no longer play the piano as he would like due to an incident in the past, and Furukawa is bright and charming, but also has a somewhat mysterious atmosphere as he harbors a “secret”. She plays Yukino.
For this work, the cast and staff were particular about how to make the music convincingly exist in the play. Kyomoto, who has a deep knowledge of music but had almost no experience in playing the piano, started teaching piano more than three months before the shooting, and Furukawa, who has been familiar with the piano since childhood, started teaching piano a month and a half before the shooting. We started full-scale lessons. In order to not only perform, but also make the video look more realistic, beautiful, and impressive, they practiced intensely, including their hand movements and gaze.
In particular, the duet scenes involve the added difficulty of listening to and playing each other’s sounds, so even after filming began, they practiced hard until the very last moment, including while waiting. The highlight is the duet scene that resonates in the hearts of the viewers without even mentioning the distance and feelings of the two as they gradually approach each other.
At the same time, scene shots showing the people surrounding Minato and Yukino were also released, including a scene cut where Minato attends a class with his childhood friend Asano Hikari, played by Mayu Yokota, who also attends the same music college.
