The documentary film “BELIEVE” is about the fierce battles of Japan’s men’s basketball team at the “FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023,” which was held jointly by the Philippines, Japan (Okinawa), and Indonesia from August 25, 2023 to September 10, 2023. It has been decided that “The Men Who Never Give Up on Japanese Basketball” will be released in theaters nationwide. The release date is June 7th (Friday), and it will be released for a limited time for 4 weeks.

Under the supervision and cooperation of the Japan Basketball Association, in addition to footage of exciting matches, new interviews with head coach Tom Horvath and players from the Japan men’s national team are included. It will be talked about. We also interview legends such as Kenichi Sako and Yuta Tabuse, who have led the Japanese basketball world, and look back on the World Cup and the Japanese national team from a unique perspective. The many precious images that could only be captured with a close-up camera, such as the suffering during practice, the whispers in the locker room, and the passion for Japanese basketball, evoke the excitement of that summer, and the heat that is even stronger than the summer heat that covers the archipelago. It will be made into a movie and brought back to life on the big screen.

It has been decided that actor Suzu Hirose will be in charge of narrating her first documentary film!
“I think this work touches deep within the hearts of the Japanese men’s basketball national team’s belief and never-give-up attitude.I hope as many people as possible can watch the wonderful games from last summer’s World Cup once again.” I hope you will take this into your memory,” he wrote in a message.

The insert song will be 10-FEET’s “Zero Kan”, and the theme song will be “Akatsuki”, which was written specifically for this work by rapper Rude-α from Okinawa City, Okinawa Prefecture!
