Distribution of the movie “Dune: Sand Planet Part 2” begins. First 10 minutes of Prime Video are free – AV Watch

Digital distribution (purchase and rental) of the sci-fi movie “Dune: Part 2”, which was just released in March of this year, started on April 26th. Subtitles and Japanese dubbed version available. The main distribution platforms include Apple TV, Google Play, Hulu, Prime Video, and U-NEXT. Prime Video is exclusively distributing the first 10 minutes of the main story for free.

The latest work in the series, based on the novel of the same name (“Dune”) by American author Frank Harvard. Part 2 depicts the revenge of Paul, his successor who lost everything after his father was killed, and the beginning of the final battle that will decide the fate of the universe. The worldwide box office revenue is approaching $700 million, and the production of Part 3 was officially announced the other day.

The film stars Timothée Chalamet, who also starred in the movie “Wonka and the Chocolate Factory”. Her co-stars include Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, Florence Pugh, Austin Butler, and Léa Seydoux. Directed by Denis Villeneuve, music by Hans Zimmer.

In the Japanese dubbed version, the voice of Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) is performed by Miyu Irino, who became famous for his role as Haku in “Spirited Away.” Subaru Kimura, known for his role as Gian in “Doraemon”, will be the voice of Fayed-Rausa Harkonnen (Austin Butler), who left a strong impact as a new character, and Kocho (Kimetsu no Yaiba) will be the voice of Princess Irulan (Florence Pugh). Saori Hayami, who plays Shinobu, plays the role.
