The teaser video and poster visuals for the movie “Sicily Summer”, a love story based on a true story about boys’ fresh first love set in Sicily, have been released.



In 1982, 16-year-old Nino and 17-year-old Gianni have a fateful encounter in Sicily, Italy, where the early summer sun shines. The two, who have completely different upbringings and personalities, are instantly attracted to each other, and their friendship quickly turns into intense love. However, the boy’s dazzling love came to an abrupt end one day…

The main characters Nino and Gianni are played by rising star actor Gabriele Pizzolo and dancer Samuele Segreto. After winning auditions from hundreds of people, the two appeared like comets, showing off their fresh performances. Directed by Giuseppe Fiorello, an Italian actor.

This work was an explosive hit in Italy, where word of mouth spread, including the acclaimed director Luca Guadagnino of “Call Me by Your Name.” In his directorial debut, Fiorello won Italy’s oldest film award for Best New Director.
