On April 25th, Perfume’s A-chan, Kashiyuka-san, and Nocchi-san appeared at the 70th anniversary exhibition “FLOATINGSHELL” of Japanese luxury jeweler “TASAKI”.

A-chan “Pay, pay!” Promoting your favorite brands

The three of them visited the venue for the exhibition “FLOATINGSHELL” (April 26th – BA-TSU ART GALLERY, Harajuku) commemorating the 70th anniversary of TASAKI, which has continued to create modern and edgy jewelry since its founding in 1954.

When she appeared, A-chan addressed the reporters holding cameras in the strong sunlight, saying, “You’re going to get burnt! Just keep it in moderation! Please stay hydrated!”, creating a peaceful atmosphere.

When asked about the jewelry she wore, Nocchi looked at her ring and said with a smile, “From the moment I saw it, I couldn’t stop thinking, “It’s cute!”” Then, A-chan said with a smile, “It’s decorated with diamonds all over the place. It looks like an adult.”

Kashiyuka also commented, “I like how it has a lightness and soft impression.”

A-chan loves TASAKI jewelry on a daily basis and says with a big smile, “It’s something you can use all the time.It’s modern but can also be used as a classic item.TASAKI-san is the best!” with a big smile.

In conjunction with TASAKI’s anniversary year, when asked what she would like for her anniversary, Kashiyuka answered, “I would like to give myself a present as a reward on a special occasion.” Then, A-chan enthusiastically appealed, “Yes! I can use it all the time. (I) have a ton of it! I love it! Charge, charge! Charge TASAKI!”

When Kashiyuka and Nocchi asked them to choose jewelry, A-chan responded, “(I) Who is TASAKI? I’m just a fan!” which drew laughter.

When asked what she would like to do during her long vacation, Kashiyuka answered, “I would like to travel with the three of us.”

A-chan said, “We have dinner with our three families once every 1-2 months, and it’s really fun when we travel. We listen to stories about our mom’s past. We learn more about things we don’t know yet. I want to travel (with three families) so I can get to know them better.”

Perfume is preparing for an Asian tour this year, and A-chan says, “In Taiwan, we’ll eat xiaolongbao, and in Bangkok, we’ll eat rice flour noodles, and we’ll enjoy them with our families.At the end of the tour, we’ll have a toast.” But since I can’t drink alcohol, I’d like to toast with tea,” he said, expressing what he was looking forward to.

“I’ve been doing this for so long, and it’s been 25 years now, so I’m starting to look forward to food,” he said with a laugh.
