Wacom’s thinnest and lightest/first organic EL pen tablet “Wacom Movink” – Digital Camera Watch

Wacom Co., Ltd. will release its first organic EL pen tablet “Wacom Movink” on Wednesday, May 15th. Direct sales price is 118,800 yen (tax included).

Adopts a 13.3-inch Samsung organic EL display. It is thinner and lighter than regular LCD pen tablets, making it the thinnest and lightest tablet on the market. The thinnest part is 4mm and the weight is 420g.

Corning Gorilla Glass and magnesium alloy are used for the housing. The bezel features two customizable touch keys.

The resolution is full HD. The maximum display color is 1,073,740,000 colors. It also has a contrast ratio of 100,000:1, which exceeds the standard for LCD pen tablets.

It also features a relatively wide color gamut with 100% DCI-P3 coverage and 95% Adobe RGB coverage. It is calibrated at the factory and also supports hardware calibration using the separately sold software “Wacom Color Manager.”

It also continues to use Wacom Pro Pen 3 technology. In addition, general-purpose stationery-style pen technology is available, including Wacom Pro Pen 2, Dr. Grip Digital for Wacom, and LAMY.
