NetEase Games has announced the establishment of a new studio, Worlds Untold, to develop AAA titles.
This new game studio is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, and employs a fully remote work system. At the helm is Mac Walters, who has been involved in games and writing for over 20 years. He has previously served as project manager and lead writer for the Mass Effect series.
The new studio “Worlds Untold” aims to “produce IP with deep content and possibilities that go beyond just one game or medium.” We are currently developing an action-adventure game set in the near future.
“Worlds Untold” brings together some of the most famous developers.
Audio Director: Mr. Sotaro Tojima
He has over 20 years of game audio production experience, having worked on the “Metal Gear Solid” series and “HALO” series.
Production manager: Elizabeth Lehtonen
“Dragon Age”, “The Sims”, “Angry Birds” series, etc.
Art Director: Ramil Sunga
He has over 20 years of experience as a creator, having been in charge of concept art for various works such as “Mass Effect: Andromeda”, “Anthem”, and the entire Dragon Age series.
Technical Director: Ben Goldstein
In addition to being involved in the Xbox One version of “Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag” and the PS4 version of “For Honor,” he was most recently involved in the construction of various simulation platforms at Tesla and Cruise.
