Introducing the latest footage from the beautiful action movie “Project M” including stealth and zombie TPS-style scenes. A tale of revenge in a changing world created by “information” – -

NCSOFT announced on November 16th, “Project M” has been released. The content shows more action-packed gameplay than previous trailers.

“Project M” is an action-adventure game centered around interactive movies. The stage is a world made up of “information particles.” Although details of the story have not been revealed, it appears to be about a man seeking revenge after losing his wife. Looking at the videos that have been released so far, it seems that the feature is that the cut scenes progress interactively, such as getting through difficult situations using QTE and choosing how to deal with the situation using options. It also appears to include scenes that can be played as an action game.

The trailer announced this time focuses more on the action nature of this work. Stealth elements and TPS elements are introduced. A battle takes place in a dilapidated amusement park with citizens who have turned into zombies, and after the powerful enemy is defeated, the amusement park is repaired and the atmosphere is restored. It will be interesting to see what kind of story will unfold in this rapidly changing world made up of information particles.

This work is being produced by NCSOFT, which is based in South Korea. It is a game company that has mainly worked on MMORPGs such as the “Lineage” series and “Blade and Soul.” On the other hand, this work, “Project M,” is said to be a challenge to “depart from MMORPGs,” and will be developed as a story-driven action adventure. It seems that Unreal Engine 5 is used as the game engine, and the detailed depiction of characters and the expression of a world that changes in seven ways with information particles are likely to be interesting points.
