Onkyo x “Girls Band Cry” collaboration completely wireless – AV Watch

Onkyo is accepting reservations for the completely wireless earphones “ANIMA AOW01” and the collaboration model “ANIMA AOW01 GBC” with the anime “Girls Band Cry” on the direct sales site “ONKYO DIRECT” and the Akihabara store “ONKYO DIRECT ANIME STORE (Oto Ani 1)”. The event will begin at 3:00 p.m. on April 26th at “Shop”. The price is 20,000 yen (shipping included). The order period is until June 21st at 3pm. Shipping will occur sequentially from late August to early September.

The “TOGENASHI TOGEARI” band logo is printed on the top of the charging case, and the “skeletal microphone” and “teddy bear” are laser-engraved on the left housing and the right housing, respectively. The housing lights up with an LED when starting up.

The voice guidance is equipped with a newly recorded voice of “Nina Iseri”. There are a total of 11 words including power on/off, pairing, tap sound, etc.

The first OtoAni store in Akihabara will have an actual machine on display from 11am on April 26th. It is possible to check the sound quality and voice, and orders can be accepted using the dedicated QR code installed at the store (orders will start from 3:00 pm on the same day). We will also sell “A4 clear file” (500 yen), “acrylic stand” (1,200 yen), and “wireless charger” (4,400 yen) with newly drawn illustrations.

The base model is the completely wireless earphone “AOW01” realized by the double name of ANIMA and ONKYO. ONKYO is supervising the sound quality. Compliant with Bluetooth 5.1, profiles support A2DP/AVRCP/HSP/HFP/SPP. Codecs support AAC, SBC, aptX. It is equipped with a MEMS type microphone and also has an external sound capture function.

Continuous playback time is approximately 6 hours when connected to aptX, and approximately 15 hours including the charging case. Charging time is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes for the earphones and approximately 3 hours for the charging case. The charging terminal is USB-C. It also supports wireless power supply.

The playback frequency band is 20Hz to 20kHz. Impedance is 16Ω. The weight of each earphone is approximately 4g, and the charging case is approximately 24g. Comes with a USB-C charging cable, earpieces (S/M/L), etc.
