On May 25, Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) unveiled new peripherals for PlayStation 5 (PS5) at “PlayStation Showcase 2023”.

A new device called “Project Q” within SIE

The new device, dubbed “Project Q” within SIE, is a handheld device designed to look like a DualSense with a display in the middle. The release is scheduled for the second half of this year.

Instead of working alone, you can work with PS5 via Wi-Fi and play PS5 games remotely by streaming. The 8-inch LCD display supports up to 1080p display at 60fps. The controller part will have the same functions as DualSense, such as buttons, adaptive triggers, and haptic feedback.

At the same time, the PlayStation brand’s first wireless earphones were also announced. Equipped with new wireless technology, you can enjoy a high-quality audio experience with low-latency lossless audio. It is said that it can be used not only on PS5 and PC but also on smartphones by Bluetooth connection.

It is also scheduled to be released in the second half of this year.
