(CNN) On the 25th, a blade from the iconic red windmill tower was found fallen at Moulin Rouge, a dance hall that is a tourist attraction in Paris, France.

According to CNN affiliate station BFMTV, the three letters “MOU” on the store’s name signboard “MOULIN ROUGE” were hit by a fallen feather. The letters were exchanged the same day.

The Paris fire department said there were no reports of injuries.

It is unclear why the windmill’s blades came off, but the general manager said there was no foul play and explained that the blades would be replaced soon. He says that performances at the hall will continue without being cancelled.

The Moulin Rouge, which opened in 1889 in the Montmartre district of Paris, is a world-famous cabaret, and the red windmill was its symbol from the time it opened. The original windmill was destroyed in a fire in 1915, and the current windmill was rebuilt in the 1920s.

Since then, it has maintained its original appearance despite several fires and repeated repairs.

The Moulin Rouge is known as the venue where the French cancan, a dance characterized by violent movements, was first performed, and it also appeared in the works of French painter Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, who depicted cabaret in its heyday. In 2001, it was the setting for the musical film Moulin Rouge starring Nicole Kidman.
