Shohei Otani of the Major League Baseball (MLB) Dodgers is collaborating with bedding manufacturer Nishikawa on a joint project called “Let’s dream big!” The project started on the 25th. In commemoration of Children’s Day on May 5th, the project will gift approximately 2,500 Air series mattresses to dreaming children across the country. Additionally, a special video was released announcing the project in which Otani sent a message directly to children across the country.

In the project’s announcement video, Otani gives a direct message to children across the country. “It’s because I had a good night’s sleep when I was little that I’m always able to act positively.I would like to share with you all the Nishikawa products that I have been using for many years.[エアー] We decided to offer this product free of charge because we want people to have a good night’s sleep on our mattresses and dream big dreams together. I would be happy if you could apply and have even bigger and better dreams! ” he calls out.

How to apply: On the project special website,
・Submit an essay (100 characters or more) about “A big dream that I want to achieve by sleeping a lot”
・Submit a photo showing a group of 5 or more people

Application requirements: Student groups from elementary school to university students, or facilities used by students (various groups, club activities, cram schools, student dormitories, etc.), 5 or more people can apply.
