Culture Convenience Club reopened “SHIBUYA TSUTAYA” on April 25th.In addition to a shared lounge on two floors that can be used as a workspace, there is also a lounge and studio where you can experience the Pokemon card game.

SHIBUYA TSUTAYA, located in front of Shibuya Scramble Crossing, opened on December 31, 1999. In addition to handling CDs, DVDs, books, and magazines, it has been operating as TSUTAYA’s flagship store, boasting the largest inventory in Japan as a rental store.

In the renewal, we focused on three points: IP, spatial value/experience value, and a place for promotion to be communicated to the world. “Up until now, we have mainly handled movies, music, games, and anime, but we would like to take a broader view of IP and actively handle V-tubers, fashion, home appliances, food, etc.Spatial value/value experience In terms of value, when we conducted a survey in Shibuya, the top answers were “Cafes are crowded” and “There is no place to take a break.” In order to meet these needs, we have prepared shared lounges in addition to Starbucks.
