Commercial and leisure facilities in Okayama Prefecture are planning a variety of events to coincide with Golden Week (GW). This is the first long holiday since the new coronavirus was classified as Category 5. Okayama Takashimaya (Okayama City) started its annual “Great Hokkaido Exhibition” on the 24th, which brings together Hokkaido gourmet food. By May 7, a total of 61 stores will be exhibiting approximately 1,000 items in the first and second half of the campaign. Tenmaya (Okayama City) is holding an exhibition of animal paintings by autistic artist Yoshinari Ishimura (Ehime Prefecture) at its Okayama store until May 12th. Leisure facilities

Toy Kingdom (Tamano City) will hold shows for children, including Sentai items, on the outdoor stage on the 28th and 29th and from May 3rd to 5th. Okayama Forest Park German Forest (Akaiwa City) will be holding an event from the 27th to May 6th.
