According to Zenichiro Urakami, associate executive officer and general manager of IT and digital strategy at ITOCHU Corporation, the company has been using an overseas core system based on “SAP ECC 6.0” at its overseas subsidiaries and some group companies for over 20 years, but the new system is based on SAP ECC 6.0. It was difficult to respond to business processes and innovation, and the traditional processes and functions covered by ERP were no longer being used.

In order to resolve these issues, we have begun building a next-generation overseas core system based on “SAP S/4 HANA Cloud.” Based on the basic policy of “Fit to Standard,” the company aims to achieve functional expansion and long-term stable operation with an eye toward future innovation, assuming the digitization of the entire business process.

Mr. Urakami said, “Test automation using Tosca has brought revolutionary changes to our testing process, reducing test execution time by 38% and total testing man-hours by 65%, contributing greatly to the project.” ” revealed the effects of introducing the tool.
