Japanese eyewear brand “ayame” will be releasing a limited number of sunglasses in collaboration with “Mensan,” a udon specialty store in Harajuku, Tokyo.

In this collaboration, the base model is “NEWOLD,” which has reigned as Ayame’s masterpiece since its debut collection. The “Mensan” logo is printed on the tip of the standard model with a classic silhouette, making it a symbol of collaboration. The lineup includes two color models: a transparent ivory that represents the udon noodles provided by Mensan, and a dark green that is inspired by the green onions topping. The price is 44,000 yen (tax included) each.

Collaboration items by x “Mensan” will be on sale at “ayame optical store” from April 26th (Friday). First, let’s check out the item details from the visuals shot in Mexico, with creative director Daisuke Genma as the model, and the set design created by Momoca.
