The operating company of J2 Soccer Team Oita Trinita’s annual financial results through January this year are 4th quarter due to increased ticket revenue and other sales, as well as efforts to reduce team reinforcement costs, including player personnel costs. We were in the black for the first time.

On the 24th, Oita Trinita’s operating company, Oita Football Club, announced its financial results for the year up to January.

According to the results, sales such as ticket revenue and sponsorship revenue were 1.861 billion yen, an increase of 34 million yen compared to the previous year.

Additionally, by reducing team training costs, including player personnel costs, by approximately 20% from the previous year, we ultimately secured a profit of 47 million yen, marking our first surplus in four years.

Trinita finished in 9th place last season and missed out on the playoffs for promotion to J1.

Commenting on the fact that Oita Football Club was in the black under these circumstances, Oita Football Club President Masakaze Ozawa said, “We are sorry that we were unable to meet expectations for promotion to J1, but we must continue to improve the soundness of our management. I want to run a system that is both profitable.”
