“HOLLYS”, a popular Korean premium cafe familiar to Korean drama and K-POP fans, has decided to open its first overseas store in Namba, Osaka. “HOLLYS Namba Marui store” (Namba Marui 1st floor) will open on May 1st.

“HOLLYS” started as Korea’s first espresso shop in 1998 and has now grown to over 500 stores. For our first global market expansion, we chose Japan, which is the largest consumer of coffee in Asia and has a deep affinity for Korean culture.

“HOLLYS Namba Marui Store” is approximately 188 square meters and has 61 seats. Like Korea’s “HOLLYS”, it features comfortable tables and chairs and a red façade, allowing you to enjoy the atmosphere of a premium Korean cafe while in Japan. “HOLLYS” cute teddy bear character “Harley Bear” will also be welcomed, and there will also be a photo spot.

The menu includes Korean “HOLLYS” signature dishes “Vanilla Delight” and “Strawberry Cheesecake Harricino,” as well as “Sweet Potato Latte,” which is popular among Japanese tourists visiting Korea, as well as items exclusive to Japan. “Yacca Cream Latte” topped with cinnamon-scented traditional Korean donut-like sweets “Yakga”; “Lucky Mugwort Latte” made with mugwort; “Hanlabon Tangerine Juice” and “Hanlabon” made with Korean citrus fruits. “Yuzu Smoothie” will be available only in Japan.

A wide range of merchandise will also be available, including Japan-only tumblers and mugs with “Osaka” and “HOLLYS” designs in Hangul.

A special campaign commemorating the store’s opening will be held on May 1st and 2nd. For two days, the first 500 people will receive a Japan-limited HOLLYS tumbler and mug as a gift. On the opening day of May 1st, a Polaroid photo session will be held at the photo spot, and you will receive a Harley Bear sticker that allows you to customize your Polaroid.
