In addition, during this year’s flower festival, a “Misogiba” will be completed, which is a commemorative project for next year’s Year of the Snake, 2027. From the afternoon of the 26th (after the completion ceremony), you will be able to do things like “washing money” and “mizu fortune telling” on the grounds.

Until 1975, the purification area was located on the 6th Roshara dam, the 6th bank of Kanajizawa, at the back of the shrine.The purification area, which used to be located along with the iris garden, was rebuilt in its modern form for the first time in about half a century. It is to be revived. As part of the Reiwa Utopia Creation Project, we will create a place in the Year of the Snake where the general public can experience Shinto’s purification, which is characterized by purification.
