Music festival “Fuji Rock Festival” will be held again in 2024
Fuji Rock Festival, also known as Fuji Rock, will be held for the 25th time in 2024 and is one of Japan’s largest outdoor music events, bringing together popular artists from Japan and abroad. Fuji Rock, which has grown year by year as Japan’s leading music festival, will be held again in 2024.

The headliners announced for 2024 are the great German techno band KRAFTWERK, and NOEL GALLAGHER’S HIGH FLYING BIRDS, who will be performing for the first time in nine years since 2015.・Flying Birds), and singer-songwriter SZA, who won three awards at the 66th Grammy Awards held in 2024. A wide range of artists, including overseas artists, as well as popular domestic bands and musicians, will perform passionately on each date.
26th (Friday) Performing artist: SZA is the headliner
SZA will be the headliner on the first day, July 26th (Friday). In addition, in 2023, Okinawan rapper Awich performed his first arena performance, Hiromi Uehara’s new project Hiromi’s Sonicwonder started with up-and-coming musicians, and dance music duo Denki Groove. Indigo la End, a band led by Eon Kawatani, and Macaroni Pencil will appear.

On July 27th (Saturday), techno pop pioneer KRAFTWERK will make their first appearance at Fuji Rock as the headliner. New talent GIRL IN RED, who just visited Japan for the first time in 2023, and talented drummer Yussef Dayes, who is leading the current UK jazz scene, will be performing for the first time in three years. Naru Kururi, three-piece band syrup16g will perform their performance. Additionally, BETH GIBBONS, known as the vocalist of the British band Portishead, will also appear.
28th (Sunday) Performing Artist: Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds Appearance
On the third day, July 28th (Sunday), NOEL GALLAGHER’S HIGH FLYING BIRDS makes a long-awaited comeback as the headliner. In addition, RAYE, one of the most streamed artists in the world, RIDE, who released their third album “Interplay” since reuniting, and former charismatic artist of the alternative scene. There are many notable artists, including Sonic Youth’s KIM GORDON and THE JESUS AND MARY CHAIN, who are celebrating their 40th anniversary. Jakarta trio ALI, Creep Hype, and singer-songwriter Tatsuya Kitani will also liven up the final day.
