Members of parliament from opposition parties greeted each other, and the document that Digital Minister Taro Kono distributed to Liberal Democratic Party members drew criticism. The text asks supporters to call the My Number general toll-free number if there is a medical institution that does not accept Myna insurance cards.

Toru Miyamoto, a member of the House of Representatives (Communist Party), said, “When I read the document, it says, “The usage rate of My Number Card health insurance cards is low.The reason is thought to be due to the fact that people are not asked at the reception desk of medical institutions.”Usage “The reason the rate is so low is because there are so many problems. It’s outrageous that we’re blaming medical institutions and encouraging tip-offs.”

Participants also handed over 420,000 signatures opposing the abolition of health insurance cards to the members of Congress who attended the rally. (Hiromi Nagakubo)
