TrackMix PoE is a wall-mounted camera.
The camera’s lenses and sensors are arranged as shown below, the top two are infrared LEDs, the middle two are lenses, and the bottom two are spotlights.

When you check the TrackMix PoE video with Reolink client software, it looks like this. You can check the video and audio captured by the camera in real time.
Unlike the RLC-833A that I reviewed last time, a feature of TrackMix PoE is that an item called “channel” has been added. One of the two channels is the above normal image captured by the distant camera, and clicking on the other one switches to the image captured by the near camera.
By pressing the layout change button at the bottom right of the screen, you can display two types of images on one screen. This time, we selected one that displays two images vertically.
The top view is a distant view, and the bottom view is a close view. You can change the position by dragging.
You can look back at past recordings by pressing “Play”. In the initial settings, “any movement”, “person”, “car”, and “pet” are detected, and “from 3 to 8 seconds before detection to 15 seconds after detection” is automatically cropped and recorded on the microSD card. The process of saving the video to the card and later playing back the motion on the Reolink client to check the video can be realized smoothly.

The recording resolution is 3840 x 2160, the video bit rate is approximately 6400 kbps, and the frame rate is 25.02 FPS. The audio is monaural at 36kbps/16kHz.
One of the features of TrackMix PoE is “auto tracking”, which automatically changes the direction of the camera while tracking and shooting the subject. TrackMix PoE’s viewing angle is normally 21 degrees to 60 degrees vertically and 38 degrees to 104 degrees horizontally, but since the camera itself rotates almost 360 degrees horizontally and 90 degrees vertically from directly below to directly in front of you, This makes it possible to fit most of the objects into the shooting range.
Automatic tracking can be activated by selecting “Motion Detection” from the settings screen and checking “Automatic Tracking”.
Set the tracking target, tracking method, and tracking time.
Switching the tracking method from “digital method” to “PT swing tracking priority” will enable camera swing.

By setting a specific orientation as a “guard point”, no matter what direction the camera is facing, you can manually or automatically return it to the guard point direction.
“Preset point” is also a function that allows you to save the camera orientation. Tap the + button to add.
The direction the camera is currently facing will be registered as a preset, so give it a name and tap “Continue”.
By clicking on a preset, you can quickly point the camera in a specific direction.
