On April 25th (Thursday), Fujifilm released the latest firmware for its mirrorless cameras “X-H2,” “X-T5,” and “X-S20,” and its integrated lens digital camera “X100VI.”

The common update content is enhanced collaboration with the smartphone app “FUJIFILM XApp.” Supports RAW image transfer.

In “X-H2”, “X-T5”, and “X-S20”, AF tracking performance in AF-C mode has been improved. When used in combination with a wide-angle lens, the rare phenomenon in which AF focus and distance indicators would vary has been improved.

Similarly, the three models have added a “wide/tracking” function for video shooting. When using AF-S, the camera automatically selects the subject, and when combined with AF-C mode, it automatically tracks the subject.

  1. Supports cooperation with cameras that have been enhanced with “FUJIFILM XApp” Ver.2.0.0 to Ver.2.1.0 or later.

    1) Camera registration and operating information are now displayed in the “Equipment” management function of “FUJIFILM XApp”.

  2. Improved AF performance
    1) In focus mode AF-C, AF tracking performance has been improved in scenes where it is easy to lose focus.

    2) Corrected a rare phenomenon in which AF focusing accuracy and distance index varied when used in combination with a wide-angle lens.

  3. The following setting functions related to video shooting have been added to improve usability when shooting videos.
    1) When recording a video, a frame will now be displayed on the screen to indicate that the video is being recorded.
