–What were your honest thoughts when it was decided that you would be appearing on the show?
The producer of “Kamen Rider Revise” told me about this project when he came to see my performance. The two of us who co-starred in Revise were starring together, so I said, “If that’s the case, please cast me too!” and they suddenly got the role (lol).

–You played the role of Okajuro’s father, Shichiya. What did you keep in mind while playing the role?
After all, he is the person who will be the cause of Heijuro’s future action philosophy of “revenge”, so I think it is an important role… I had the impression that Nanaya was kind and gentle towards his family, which was unusual for a man at the time. Actually, I’m not a calm person at all (I’m kind to my family!), and if I let my guard down, my reactions would quickly become violent, so even though it was a short scene, I was careful about that.

–What was the atmosphere like on the set? If only there was an episode with Tomoya Oku, who plays his son.
When I entered the set, I was surprised, “What? This work is full of handsome men!” And there aren’t even any women. Still, there was a sense of unity among the young actors, as if they were at a club training camp. Oku-kun is almost 20 years old, so I would like to have a quick drink with him when he turns 20.
