Netflix movie “City Hunter” released today. “#Mokkori Festival” with X – AV Watch

Netflix will exclusively distribute the Netflix movie “City Hunter,” which is the first live-action adaptation of the popular comic in Japan during the Reiwa era, from April 25th. Starring Ryohei Suzuki announced on his SNS that “Streaming will begin today at 4 p.m.”

To commemorate the release, a “Netflix movie “City Hunter” Watch Party Mokkori Festival” will be held from 8pm on the 25th.

After receiving the message “XYZ Please find my sister” written on the message board at Shinjuku’s east exit, Ryo Saeba, also known as “City Hunter”, along with his partner Hideyuki Makimura, undertakes a search for the famous cosplayer Kurumi. Around that time, mysterious violent incidents occur frequently in Shinjuku, and Saeko Nogami, a talented detective at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, is having a hard time. Ryo and Makimura are a perfect combination as they pursue Kurumi, but during the investigation, Makimura gets caught up in a sudden incident and dies.

When Ryo rushes to the scene of the incident, he finds Makimura’s younger sister Kaori Makimura there. Kaori requests Ryo to investigate the truth behind her brother’s death on her message board, but Ryo, who does not want to involve her Kaori, continues to avoid her Kaori.

However, the situation changes when Kaori discovers and protects Kurumi. Ryo and Kaori will be infiltrating an event where Kurumi will be appearing as a cosplayer as her bodyguards. As soon as Kurumi takes the stage, she becomes the center of attention. However, it wasn’t just the audience and the media that looked at her.

The main character, Ryo Saeba, will be played by Ryohei Suzuki, who is also known as a fan of the original work. Nozomi Morita will play the role of the heroine Kaori Makimura, Masanobu Ando will play the role of Ryo’s partner Hideyuki Mura, and Fumino Kimura will play the role of the detective Saeko Nogami. The director is Yuichi Sato. On the Netflix distribution page, the main story is announced to be 1 hour and 44 minutes long.
