Experience-based sports event “URBAN SPORTS DAY” will be held at Sennan Long Park in Osaka! | Ikoyo News

“URBAN SPORTS DAY in SENNAN LONG PARK,” an experiential sports event that the whole family can enjoy, will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at SENNAN LONG PARK in Sennan City, Osaka Prefecture.

This is an event where you can easily experience a wide variety of sports such as skateboarding, BMX, basketball, and Molukku.

We also have skateboarding contests and free trial sessions!

A skateboarding school in Sennan City collaborates with a locally based skateboarding organization. We will be holding a skateboarding contest where everyone competes for tricks. In addition, we will hold demonstrations where you can see high-level tricks up close and free trial sessions.

Performance and workshop with professional BMX riders

Professional riders who have won numerous awards at domestic and international competitions gather at SENNAN LONG PARK! The numerous tricks performed with the bicycle are a must-see. We will also offer a free trial experience where you can participate empty-handed.

There’s also a free throw challenge where you can win prizes, and an activity area for the whole family to enjoy!

In the basketball free throw challenge, if you make a shot, you will receive a prize that can be used the same day.

There will also be an activity area where you can try out bouldering, slacklining, trampolines, and more.

In addition, there will be a free trial session for the Finnish-originated sport “Morukku” and a food truck stall, so you can spend the whole day at SENNAN LONG PARK!

On the same day, the beach rugby tournament “Beach Rugby Kansai Classic 2024 SPRING” will be held, and you can watch the heated matches for free.
