[Kitanakagusuku]The 37th Amateur Ryuo Shogi Tournament Prefectural Qualifying Tournament was held on the 7th at the Kitanakagusuku Village Central Community Center, where 116 shogi fans were divided into classes based on their shogi ability and competed to win the top prize. It was Hirotake Kuwae (General) who won in the top representative selection class for the second time in 14 years.

Kuwae will be sent to represent Okinawa Prefecture at the national tournament to be held in June. Other results are as follows. (Titles omitted)
