“Blue Bloods: NYPD Family Ties” is currently airing in its home country of the United States and will end with season 14. Cast members Donnie Wahlberg (Danny Reagan) and Bridget Moynahan (Erin Reagan Boyle) have revealed their feelings about parting ways with the film. This is reported by Entertainment Weekly.

Supporting family success even behind the camera

Blue Bloods, which centers on a family of police officers working in the New York City Police Department, has been a hit since its debut on CBS in 2010. Original cast members Donnie and Bridget appeared on Drew Barrymore’s talk show, The Drew Barrymore Show, and were emotional as their 14-year career came to an end.

Some scenes from the final season of Blue Bloods were shown on the show, and when the weekly Sunday dinner scene was shown, host Drew said, “You can’t fake that chemistry. It’s real.” It’s like a family,” he commented. Concerning the ending of the film, Donnie was asked, “How do you guys feel? I think everyone gets upset or sad at times like this, but are you happy and satisfied?” Donnie said. “If anything, I’m upset and sad,” she replied with a laugh.

“I don’t think it’s so much saying goodbye to the character as saying goodbye to the people who played it,” Bridget explains, putting her hand on Donnie’s shoulder, adding, “We’re amazing on set. We’ve built a family. Most of us have been together for 14 years, so we’ve gone through a lot together, including marriages, births, and funerals,” he said, explaining why he regrets parting. Ta.

By the way, Bridget made her debut as a director in season 12 of this work, and was in charge of directing the fourth episode of the final season, “Past is Present,” which aired in March. Donnie thanked Bridget for being her biggest supporter during this challenge, but Donnie remained humble and stated that he was simply rooting for Bridget. “Someone, I forget who it was, came up to me and said, “Bridget wants to direct.” My reaction when I heard that was, “Oh, so? She can do it, right? “I was like, ‘Do you think there’s anything she can’t do?'” she recalls of dealing with someone who had doubts about Bridget’s ability as a director. Bridget was moved to hear this and praised his kindness with applause.

Season 14, the final chapter of “Blue Bloods,” will consist of two parts, the first half of the season, and the first half of the season is currently airing every Friday on CBS. Seasons 1 to 13 are currently available on Hulu in Japan. (Foreign Drama NAVI)
